Dark chocolate and orange, avocado mousse 🤎🥑
After being gifted an amazing package from doisyanddam earlier this week, I just had to try a new chocolate recipe!! This delicious chocolate and avocado mousse is also 100% vegan 🥰
What will you need?
• 100g vegan dark choc
• 2 medium ripe avocados
• 120ml maple syrup
• 80ml coconut cream
• 1 tsp vanilla essence
• 1/2 an orange
• A little salt

Step 1 – Measure out 120ml maple syrup and add to a food processor. Then add 80ml coconut cream, 1 tsp vanilla essence and a sprinkle of salt.
Step 2 – Either in the microwave or on the hob, melt 100g of vegan dark chocolate. The 80g doisyanddam bars are great for this as melt super easily then I used the dark chocolate buttons to make up the rest of the quantity. As you can see in my pics I decided to use the goji and orange bar and wow the flavours are insane!
Step 3 – Add the melted chocolate to the food processor along with the zest of half an orange. Then scoop out the flesh of 2 medium ripe avocados, add to the mixture and blend for a couple of mins.
Step 4 – Once a thick but smooth texture has been created, divide mousse between glasses and leave to set in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Step 5 – Before serving, decorate with the doisyanddam chocolate drops which are such beautiful colours! 🌈
