📍Megan’s, High Street Kensington
Felt like I was well overdue a brunch review so here we go!
Situated on the high street, this is a great location and super easy to find! Cross over the road when you come out of the tube station and arrive in less than 5 mins on foot 🚇
Usually I go for the savoury option but surprised myself by having a sweet tooth on this visit so went for the pancakes! I was super impressed by how substantial these were and even more by the fact they were 100% vegan?! Served with chia and coconut yoghurt, homemade blueberry compote, dried raspberries, pistachios, maple syrup and layered with banana slices, they definitely went all out on the toppings with this one 🥞
In addition to the pancakes, I ordered a side of mini potato rosti which were delicious but a very small portion – be warned! One of my friends ordered the vegan brunch, comprising smashed avocado, mushrooms, spinach, scrambled tofu, shakshouka, harissa hummus and seeded sourdough 🥑 This was very well presented and generously portioned!
My other friend went for the avocado toast with a poached egg, simple but a classic 🍳
Absolutely LOVE that dogs are allowed in this venue so that was a huge positive for me. Additionally, the decor was stunning, as you can see in the second pic, there is a beautifully presented selection of cakes and pastries to order to your table or take away if passing by 🥐
If you haven’t been to a Megan’s before, I highly recommend a visit and will be visiting again very soon to try more of their extensive menu 😍
